Emiel Loyd

Emiel Loyd is an experienced professional in biomedical engineering and clinical engineering, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Engineering at MacNeal Hospital, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and Mercy One Chicago since December 2019. Loyd has held various roles within Trinity Health, starting as a Biomedical Engineer II from January 2014 to December 2016, transitioning to Director of Biomedical Engineering at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center from December 2016 to October 2018, and subsequently taking on the position of Director in the Clinical Engineering department. Prior to joining Trinity Health, Loyd worked as a Biomedical Engineer at Aramark from 2006 to 2013. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University, completed between 1990 and 1993, and graduation from Chicago Vocational High School.
