Mark Trombetta, MD, FACR, FACRO, serves as the Interim Chair of the Department of Radiologic Sciences and a Professor of Radiation Oncology at Drexel University College of Medicine since 2002. With a long-standing affiliation with the Allegheny Health Network since 1989, Trombetta holds the position of System Director of Clinical Programs in the Department of Oncology and leads initiatives such as breast cancer, cardiac radiation, and brachytherapy programs. Additionally, Trombetta has contributed to the GammaPod® project and has held various leadership roles in radiation oncology training programs. Clinical responsibilities extend to multiple hospitals and health systems, including Trinity Health System, where Trombetta functions as the Medical Director of the Tony Teramana Cancer Center. Educational contributions include adjunct and clinical professorships at Temple University and Marietta College. Trombetta earned a Doctor of Medicine from Drexel University College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Family Medicine from Gannon University.
