Charles Dam

Charles Dam is a seasoned professional in data engineering and analytics, currently serving as Senior Manager at Trinity Industries, Inc. since August 2018, where leadership of a data engineering team focuses on modernizing data warehousing through advanced analytics technologies. In addition to this role, Charles chairs the Diversity and Inclusion initiative for TrinityRail’s Asian American employee resource group. Previous experience includes positions at Brinks Home Security as a Senior Manager and Data Scientist, where expertise in data science algorithms and business intelligence reporting was developed. Earlier roles at UT Southwestern Medical Center involved neuroimaging research and psychometric testing, while academic positions at The University of Texas Dallas involved data analysis and teaching. Charles began a career in finance as a Stock Broker at TD Ameritrade and subsequently worked at Merrill Lynch. Charles holds a Master’s Degree in Cognitive & Neuroscience and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas.
