Josh Ford

Josh Ford, MBA, CRL, is a seasoned Senior Reliability Engineer at Trinity Industries, Inc., with extensive experience in reliability studies and maintenance optimization for railcars. Since November 2019, Josh has successfully implemented digital tools to enhance efficiency in data gathering and has driven initiatives for Total Cost of Ownership reduction, resulting in significant lifecycle savings. Prior roles at BNSF Railway included Manager of Continuous Improvement & Quality and Manager of Locomotive Reliability, where Josh focused on compliance monitoring, visual analytics, and budgeting within mechanical operations. With a strong foundation in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Penn State University, Josh has also contributed to HVAC system design and LEED certification processes early in their career.
