Jill Lovorn Gough has a diverse and extensive work experience. Jill Lovorn began their career as a Mathematics Teacher at Callaway High School in 1984. Jill Lovorn then worked as the Owner/Manager of The Limited Edition from 1987 to 1990, before becoming a Mathematics Teacher at The Bailey Magnet School from 1990 to 1991. From 1991 to 1995, they served as a Mathematics Teacher at The Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science. Jill Lovorn then worked at Hewlett-Packard as the Applet Coordinator for HP 38G from 1995 to 1996. From 1996 to 2002, they worked as a Mathematics Teacher at The Kiski School. Jill Lovorn then joined The Westminster Schools in 2002, where they held the positions of PLC Co-director and Chief Technology Integration Specialist until 2012. Finally, they have been working as the Director of Teaching and Learning at Trinity School since July 2012. Additionally, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Mississippi College from 1986 to 1992 and as a National T3 Instructor at Texas Instruments since 1998.
Jill Lovorn Gough attended Mississippi College from 1980 to 1984, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Education/Computing Science. Following this, they continued their studies at the same institution from 1984 to 1986 and obtained a Master of Computer Science degree, specializing in Mathematics/Computing Sciences. In April 2021, Jill earned certification as a Google Certified Educator Level 1 from Google for Education.
