Trinity School for Ministry
Joel Scandrett serves as an Associate Professor of Historical Theology at Trinity School for Ministry, where responsibilities include teaching courses in historical, systematic, and pastoral theology. Previously, Joel held various academic positions, such as Visiting Assistant Professor of Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Interim Rector at The Church of Christ the King. Joel has also contributed to theological education as an adjunct professor at institutions like Wheaton College and Northern Seminary. Additionally, Joel directed the Robert E. Webber Center for an Ancient Evangelical Future and has experience in academic publishing, having worked as an Associate Academic Editor at InterVarsity Press. Education includes a Ph.D. in Theological & Religious Studies from Drew University and several degrees in theology and philosophy from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and Wheaton College.
