Allison Forrester is an experienced educational professional and community leader, currently serving as the Upper School Learning Specialist at Trinity School of Durham and Chapel Hill since October 2023. With a longstanding commitment to the Junior League of High Point since 1998, Allison has held various leadership roles, including President, while successfully raising substantial funds through grant writing and special events for local initiatives. Previous leadership roles include Director of Learning Services at The Epiphany School of Global Studies, Advisory Board Chair for Leslie’s House, and Executive Director for High Point Childwatch, Inc. With a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Duke University, Allison’s career has also encompassed teaching special education and fostering community development through various organizations, demonstrating a strong focus on educational equity and community service.
