Alison Hermann

Alison Hermann has a diverse work experience spanning several financial institutions. Alison currently works at Trinity University as part of the Office of Investments, managing a $1.3 billion investment portfolio. Prior to that, they were an Associate Director at the University of Texas Investment Management Company, where they conducted hedge fund research and sourced potential managers. Alison also worked as a Research Analyst at Austin Capital Management, managing hedge funds worth $1.5 billion. Alison began their career as an Industry Research Analyst at 40|86 Advisors, analyzing various industries and participating in financial modeling and valuation analysis. Before that, they worked as a Structured Finance Officer at STAR Financial Bank, where they facilitated structured finance transactions. Alison'searly career included a role as a Junior Account Executive at GE Capital Aviation Services, where they assisted with the acquisition process and led underwriting for multimillion-dollar transactions.

Alison Hermann has a strong education background in finance and business. Alison obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, and Spanish from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business in 1999. After several years, they pursued further education and completed an MBA degree with a focus in Finance from Butler University's Lacy School of Business in 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Alison Hermann also holds additional certifications. Alison obtained the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification from the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association, Inc. in April 2009.
