Andrew M. Wells

Andrew M. Wells, Ph.D., currently serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs at Trinity University, a role held since July 2023. Prior to this position, Andrew was the Associate Dean of Students at Macalester College from July 2017 to June 2023, overseeing various Campus Life units and serving on key leadership teams. Andrew has extensive experience in higher education, having held several roles at institutions such as the University of Georgia, where Andrew was the Interim Associate Vice-President & Dean of Students, and the University of California, Davis. Andrew earned a Ph.D. in Counseling & Student Personnel Services from the University of Georgia in 2017, complemented by a Master of Education in Higher Education, Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UC Santa Barbara.
