Douglas Cooper

Douglas Cooper has extensive experience in information technology, primarily at Trinity University, where service began in January 2000. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Administrator and Information Technology Consultant since July 2019, Douglas has led significant reforms to modernize the university’s IT system. Prior roles included Senior Systems Administrator, Systems Administrator, Senior Programmer/Analyst, and User Services Support Technician I & II. Notable accomplishments include developing a multi-year strategy for IT transformation, overseeing campus-wide antivirus deployment, and designing the campus wireless network. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from Trinity University, obtained between 1995 and 1999.
