Simon van der Heijden

Simon van der Heijden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of law and environmental sustainability. Since 2006, Simon has served as Director and Co-Founder/Co-Owner of Heathland, demonstrating strong leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Currently, Simon holds the position of Manager of Chemical Recycling at Trinseo, a role initiated in January 2022. Additionally, from March 2017 to October 2022, Simon was the Project Co-Founder and Coordinator for the MMAtwo EU project, driving significant initiatives in the field. Simon's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Law with a focus on Tax Law, Chinese Business Law, and Environmental Law from Tilburg University, complemented by studies at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
