Aart De Geus

Aart de Geus is Chair of Triodos Bank’s Supervisory Board and member of the Nomination Committee. He is Chairman of the Board of the Goldschmeding Foundation and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Planbureau Leefomgeving (the Hague). Aart de Geus is also Chairman of the Advisory Boards of the Netherlands Bar (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten)and Stichting SBI, and member of the Advisory Boards of the Jacques Delors Institute (Berlin) and NOW . Previously, he was Chairman and CEO of the Bertelsmann Foundation (Gütersloh), Deputy Secretary-General at the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (Paris) and Minister of Social Affairs and Employment in the Dutch Government (2002-2007). He was also a partner at Boer & Croon Strategy & Management Group and worked for the Industriebond CNV and Vakcentrale CNV.
