Phillip Bate

Phillip Bate has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Phillip has been working at Triodos Bank since 2018, starting as a Senior Relationship Manager and later promoted to Team Leader for the South West & Midlands region. Currently, they serve as the Director of Business Banking UK. In this role, they work with charities, social enterprises, and other organizations focused on positive social, cultural, or environmental change. Prior to joining Triodos Bank, Phillip worked at Lloyds Banking Group in various roles, including Associate Director Real Estate, Business Support Manager, and Lending Manager for SMEs. Phillip also held positions at Bristol Green Capital Partnership and Charity of Alderman Steevens as a Board Member and Charity Trustee respectively. Before that, they worked at Lloyds Bank and Orange as an Assistant Manager in the finance department.

Phillip Bate holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd. Phillip is also a Qualified Accountant, having obtained this status from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
