David Salem

David Salem has a diverse range of work experience in various fields, including academia, consulting, and industry. David started their career in 1995 as the Director of Research at TRI/Princeton. Following that, they worked as the Vice President of Research and Development at Charge Injection Technologies, Inc. from 2002 to 2007. David then joined NanoProducts as the Director of Applications Development from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, they started their own consulting company, David Salem Consulting, where they worked as the Principal until 2010. During this time, they also served as a Professor and Center Director at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. Currently, David is serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at Trion Energy Solutions Corp. starting from 2021. Their roles in academia include being a professor in various engineering disciplines and directing research centers focused on composites and nanocomposites.

David Salem has a Ph.D. from The University of Manchester and a B.Sc. from the University of Bradford.
