Timothy Mayne

Timothy Mayne has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. In their most recent role, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Trion Energy Solutions Corp. since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Liacon GmbH, where they held multiple positions, including Advisory Board Member and Chief Executive Officer. During their tenure at Liacon GmbH, they were responsible for global business development, commercial strategy, strategic partnerships, and fundraising activities, helping the company raise €30M in investments and government grants. Before joining Liacon GmbH, Timothy was the Managing Director at Liacon GmbH from July 2018 to January 2020. Timothy also worked as a Senior Investment Manager at Whiteridge Funds from July 2017 to July 2018, where they conducted research, due diligence, and managed operational matters for invested companies. Additionally, Timothy gained experience as an Investment Analyst at Signet Capital Management Limited, starting in October 2015.

Timothy Mayne's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Renewable Energy (Hons) from UNSW, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a major in Finance and Business Economics from UNSW Business School. Timothy also participated in an exchange program at HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, focusing on a Masters of Finance. Additionally, Timothy obtained a High School Certificate from Saint Ignatius' College Riverview.

In terms of certifications, they are a certified Snowboard Instructor from the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI) and also holds a certification as a Surf Life Saver from Surf Life Saving Australia.
