Andreas Kerkmann

Andreas Kerkmann serves as an Advance Development Engineer at TRIOPTICS GmbH since August 2020, previously holding the position of Postdoctoral Research Scientist and Doktorand at Universität Hamburg from January 2016 to August 2020. Andreas Kerkmann's research focused on the development of a Quantum Gas Experiment for Lithium atoms, encompassing areas such as optomechanics, optics, and electronics, alongside laser system design and maintenance, real-time experimental control, and various cooling and trapping techniques. Andreas Kerkmann obtained a Doctor of Science (Dr. rer. nat.) in Physics from the University of Hamburg in 2019 and a Master of Science in Physics from the same institution in 2015, supplemented by an Erasmus exchange at Paris-Sud University, where a L3/M1 in Physics was earned.
