Stefan Krey

Stefan Krey is an experienced professional in optical systems design and development, serving as Managing Director and CTO at TRIOPTICS since March 2000. With over 20 years of expertise, Stefan has been instrumental in the research and development of automated optical instruments for both industrial and scientific applications. Prior to their role at TRIOPTICS, Stefan worked as a PhD student at Philips Research Hamburg, focusing on low-noise magnetic field sensors and the manufacturing of sensitive magnetic field sensors using Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices (SQUIDs). Stefan holds a Doctor of Physics degree in Solid State Physics and High-Temperature Superconductivity from the University of Hamburg, in addition to a Diploma in Physics from the same institution, and completed a program at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2013.
