Brandon Weakland has a diverse range of experience in the field of optical and system troubleshooting. Brandon started their career at Infrared Laboratories, Inc. in 2005 as an Optical/Test Engineer, where they were responsible for quality reliability assurance of various products and assisted in the development of opto-mechanics. Brandon then joined 4D Technology Corporation in 2010 as a Service Engineer, where they focused on quality reliability assurance, managing repair and alignment of multiple optical systems, and developing work instructions for the service department. In 2016, Brandon joined Azbil North America-BioVigilant Division as a Service Engineer, where they were responsible for quality reliability assurance of the company's bioburden analyzer products, optical/system troubleshooting, and developing the service department for the IMD-W product line. Currently, they work at Trioptics USA as a Sr. Service & Applications Engineer.

Brandon Weakland received a Bachelor's degree in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona between 2003 and 2006. Brandon is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Engineering at Texas Tech University, which they expect to complete between 2021 and 2023.
