Roberto Herran

Roberto Herran has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Roberto started their career at Delphi, where they worked as a Process and Industrial Engineer from 1995 to 1998. Roberto then joined Solectron as a Technology Advisor from 1999 to 2003. In 2000, they also worked as a Process Engineer at Flextronics.

From 2003 to 2015, Herran worked at Jabil in various roles, including Global Engineering Manager, Technology Services Manager, Engineering Manager, Engineering Services Global Manager, and Technology Manager for the Mobility Sector in Asia. In these positions, they led engineering teams, implemented lean and IE principles to improve production lines, implemented data traceability and shop floor control systems, and achieved yield and productivity improvements through automation.

Since 2015, Herran has been working at SIEDGE, where they specialize in gathering intelligence on engineering. Most recently, they joined Trioptics USA in 2021 as an Engineer.

Roberto Herran has a strong educational background in the field of Mechanical Engineering. From 1980 to 1988, they attended the Centro de Enseñanza Técnica Industrial, where they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. During this time, they also obtained a secondary degree in Mechanics from the same institution.
