Mark Schembri, P.Eng.

Mark Schembri, P.Eng. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mark is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Trip Ninja, a travel technology solutions company that specializes in using machine learning to improve booking efficiency and revenue generation. Prior to this, Mark was involved in the education sector, working as a member of the Program Cluster Advisory Team in the School of IT/Software Development at both Conestoga College and Fanshawe College. Mark has also co-founded and served as the fractional COO at pfmStudios Inc., a technology company. In addition, Mark has held roles such as fractional CTO at Caring Support, Software Development Manager at HRdownloads, and Professor at Fanshawe College. Mark has also been actively involved in professional organizations, such as CCBE, where they served as an executive member. Before transitioning to the technology industry, Mark worked at Bell Media as the Regional Manager of Engineering & I.T. for Radio and TV Operations in Ontario. Mark has also held the role of Manager of Engineering & I.T. at Bell Media. Additionally, Mark has contributed to the field of education as a member of the Program Cluster Advisory Team and Co-Chair of the Applied Science and Technology Program Steering and Advisory Committee Industry Team at Fanshawe College. Mark Schembri, P.Eng., holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science degree in Computer Engineering from Western University. Mark also holds an Audio Engineering Diploma from the Ontario Institute of Audio Recording Technology. In addition to their educational qualifications, Mark Schembri obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification from Professional Engineers Ontario in December 2012.
