Juan Carlo Montoya

Juan Carlo Montoya has extensive work experience in product management and development. Juan Carlo has held various senior positions in companies such as Triple A Internetshops GmbH, ERGO Group AG, and ERGO Digital IT. Juan Carlo also has experience as a technical project manager and product owner at Interone, where they were responsible for leading the technical implementation of a BMW portal and managing a team of 12 members. Prior to that, they worked at IMImobile as an operations and product manager, responsible for product lifecycle, vision, and strategy. Juan Carlo also served as a business development director at SATELCO, where they managed product management and content services. Juan began their career as an account manager at Naranya and later worked as a VAS services expert at Setelsa.

Juan Carlo Montoya completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas from 1998 to 2004. Juan Carlo then pursued a Professional Diploma in Information Technology, specializing in DNIIT Software Engineering, from the National Institute of Information Technology from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Juan has obtained several certifications including the Zertifikat Datenschutz-Schulung from Trusted Shops in 2021, SAFe 4 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2019, and various certifications from Scrum.org, Scaled Agile Framework Certification Training, and International Scrum Institute™.
