Triple Shot Press is an independent thriller imprint based in Los Gatos,
California, run by co-founders Dave and Diane Bartell.

The press is built around a focused catalog and is anchored by the Darwin
Lacroix Adventure Series — ten novels and three novellas, with over 101,000
books sold since 2018. Read-through from Book 2 through Book 9 averages
80%, reflecting a readership that stays with the series over time.
Dave and Diane bring different strengths to the work. Dave develops the
stories and writes the books. Diane leads the business side of the press —
shaping marketing strategy, managing industry relationships, and overseeing
production and operations across the catalog.

Triple Shot Press publishes thriller fiction grounded in history, science, and real
research, where discovery is what drives the story forward.

A second franchise, SPEAR Ops, is in development for release in 2026.
Triple Shot Press is a proud member of the International Thriller Writers,
Alliance of Independent Authors and Independent Book Publishers
Association.
