Kira Mügge

Kira Muhlbauer is a Senior Software Engineer at CircleCI since August 2020, where significant contributions include rewriting the team's CI/CD configuration, achieving a near 60% reduction in average build time, maintaining a 99.995% uptime SLO as the primary on-call engineer for multiple non-critical services, and leading an initiative to simplify the application's data layer. Previously, Kira served as a Software Engineer for the Insights team at CircleCI, focused on delivering new features to the Insights dashboard and building performant frontend components using React and Next. Before CircleCI, Kira worked at VEERUM from May 2018 to August 2020 as a Junior Software Developer, engaging in full stack development for a complex 3D visualization SaaS web application and completing a Software Engineering Internship, where an internal data management tool was designed and developed. Kira holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from MacEwan University, awarded in 2020.
