Michael Tackett

Michael Tackett, CSP, currently serves as the VP of EHS & Risk at TriplePoint MEP since September 2025, where responsibilities include enhancing employee worksite protections and production efficiencies across various affiliated companies. Previously, Michael held similar roles as VP of EHS & Risk at Polk Mechanical Company, achieving national recognition through multiple Construction Safety Excellence Awards, and implementing Human Performance Principles to improve operational culture. At JK Bernhard Construction, Michael as VP of Operations & Risk oversaw significant revenue growth through technology and organizational changes. Earlier career experiences include leadership roles at the H.E. Butt Foundation and Luminant, focusing on safety and risk management, HR, and operations in various sectors. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from East Texas A&M University and an AAS in Occupational Safety and Health from Kilgore College.
