Maxime D'Haese is a Bioprocess Engineer at TripleW since October 2022, focusing on the scale-up of processes converting food waste into high-purity lactic acid. Responsibilities include managing pilot plant operations, commissioning new equipment, collaborating with R&D, optimizing data collection and process performance, and designing an improved pilot plant. Prior to this, Maxime completed a Master's thesis on biosurfactant production at Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant and gained experience in quality control and tutoring. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Bioscience Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Bioscience Engineering from Ghent University. Additional experience includes roles in quality control and as an official umpire in field hockey.
