Principal Quality Engineer at TriSalus Life Sciences

Christiana Okuwobi has worked in the quality engineering field since 2007. Christiana began their career as a Research Intern at the University of Kentucky, followed by a Research Intern position at Indiana University School of Medicine. In 2011, they took on the role of Quality Assurance Engineer at Stryker. In 2012, they began working at CR Bard as a Quality Systems Engineer, responsible for the corporate quality metric reporting system and validation activities. In 2015, they became a Quality Engineer II at BD, managing, processing, and investigating customer complaints. In 2018, they moved to Zimmer Biomet as a Senior Quality Engineer II, where they reviewed and approved complaint investigations and identified and championed continuous improvement projects. In 2019, they joined DePuy Synthes Companies as a Sr. Quality Engineer Product Escalation, responsible for investigation of product non-conformances, safety signals, complaint trends, and other product issues impacting filed inventory. Finally, in 2021, they began their current role as Principal Quality Engineer at TriSalus Life Sciences.

Christiana Okuwobi obtained their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University between 2006 and 2011. Christiana then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Quality Management from the Florida Institute of Technology between 2019 and 2020.
