Matthew V.

Matthew V. has extensive work experience in the field of detection engineering and threat hunting. Matthew started their career at Triskele Labs in June 2022 as a Detection Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Detection Engineering and Threat Hunting Lead in October 2023. Prior to their role at Triskele Labs, Matthew served in the Australian Army for over a decade, starting in July 2009 as an Infantry Corporal. During their time in the army, they had direct responsibility for the safety, management, and wellbeing of twelve-man squads and discharged their duties effectively in high-risk and high-pressure situations. Matthew's work experience demonstrates their strong leadership skills and ability to handle challenging situations.

Matthew V. completed a Certificate in Cybersecurity at Monash University in 2021. Matthew also obtained additional certifications such as Security+ from CompTIA and various certifications in Splunk, including Scheduling Reports & Alerts and Visualizations, in 2021.
