Igor Kovalsky

Igor Kovalsky is an accomplished heart valve designer and product manager currently working at Trisol Medical since September 2021. In addition to this role, Igor has been self-employed as a medical device mechanical engineer since September 2017, specializing in the development of trans-catheter heart valves, including nitinol frames and pericardium design. Prior experience includes positions as Principal Engineer at Abbott, where Igor focused on heart valve design and trans-catheter procedure development, and as a heart valve designer at Tendyne, acquired by Abbott. Igor's background includes mechanical engineering roles at Medtronic, Ventor Technologies, CorAssist, Edwards Lifesciences, and PVT, with significant leadership experience managing teams in valve development projects. Igor holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical and Interdisciplinary Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
