Tim Burns has over 18 years of work experience in Information Technology. Tim started their career at Tristar IT&S in 2003 as a Division Imaging Systems Manager, where they held the role for 16 years. In 2019, they joined Centennial Medical Center as an IT Director for two years before taking on their current position as the Director of Information Technology at TriStar Horizon Medical Center in 2021.

Tim Burns received their Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nashville State Community College in the years 1983 to 1985. Tim then went on to obtain their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Governors University from an unknown start year to 2015. Lastly, in 2018, Tim completed their education by earning a Master's degree in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University.
