Steve Klees

Vice President, Products, Pricing, & Risk at Triton Automotive Group

Steve Klees has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Steve started their career as a Loan Officer at Indiana Bank & Trust Company in 1979, where they gained foundational expertise in lending. Steve then moved on to Pat Ryan & Associates, where they held various positions such as F&I manager, Divisional Vice President of Business Development, and Vice President of Training. During this time, they worked closely with major automotive brands, setting up and developing private-label products for their captive finance arms.

In 1997, Steve joined G.E. Capital Auto Financial Services as the Director of Sales Training & Market Development, where they managed a large sales force and oversaw the national training program for leasing and subprime finance. Steve also led the integration of a digital leasing tool into thousands of dealerships.

After leaving G.E. Capital, Steve became the Senior Vice President at EFG Companies in 2008. Steve was responsible for the P/L of EFG's Specialty Channel, focusing on sales force training and development and creating performance initiatives to drive long-term results for clients. Steve achieved remarkable success, increasing Santander's VSC product penetration volume by 1500 percent.

In 2017, Steve became the President of Titleist Financial Services, representing financial consumer protection products to financial institutions throughout the U.S.

Most recently, Steve joined Triton Automotive Group as the Vice President of Training and Product Development in 2019.

Steve Klees has studied English at Ball State University and has also attended Concordia. In addition, they have obtained a certification from the Association of Finance & Insurance Professionals at SPFS in January 2016. No specific years of study or degrees achieved are provided.
