Marina Galvao

Marina Galvao is an environmental professional currently employed at Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd. since August 2024. Prior to this role, Marina worked as a passive acoustic monitoring operator on a contractual basis at EDGEWISE Environmental for one month in mid-2024. Additionally, Marina served as the head of science communication at Whale Seeker from June 2023 to July 2024 and gained experience as an aquatic science technician at Fisheries and Oceans Canada from February 2022 to March 2023, after previously holding the same position with the organization throughout 2020. Marina also contributed as a wildfire lab and field research assistant at The University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry in 2021. Marina holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources Conservation from The University of British Columbia, earned between 2017 and 2022.
