Charles Bridges

Charles Bridges has worked in the accounting field since 1987. Charles began their career as a Controller at J A Majors Company, where they were responsible for financial functions and reporting of seven entities, ten divisions of a wholesale and retail distribution facility. Charles supervised the accounting department and accounts payable department, prepared and analyzed monthly comparative financial statements, and established and maintained operational procedures, accounting systems, and internal controls. Charles then moved to Hamm Compactors as the Chief Financial Officer, where they handled cash management and treasury functions, coordinated A/R collections, managed A/P vendor contracts, implemented and administered a 401(k) plan, and handled payroll and employee benefits administration. In 2002, they joined Citi as a Controller in the CitiCapitalFinancialControllersGroup, where they analyzed, developed, and implemented processes to control Operating Expenses. In 2007, they had a consulting engagement with The Titus Group, where they handled a consulting engagement with an Oil and Gas company in Houston, TX. Charles then worked as a Project Manager at LaQuinta Inns & Suites, where they performed A/R Trade and Cash reconciliations for a 3 year period for over 400 Inns. From 2008-2010, they were a Controller at Goldin Peiser & Peiser, CPA's, where they coordinated accounts payable and vendor relations, accounts receivable and client relations, collections, payroll, tax reporting, IT systems coordination, cash management and forecasting, banking relationships, risk management, building/property management, GAAP financial statement preparation for four entities, account analysis and annual budgets for four entities, and human resources functions. From 2010-2016, they were a Financial Institution Accounting Specialist at FDIC, where they performed resolution and receivership functions that included closing failed financial institutions and the liquidation of assets and accounting for such liquidations. Finally, they are currently a Controller at Triton Networks, LLC since 2018.

Charles Bridges attended Eastern Illinois University from 1978 to 1981 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Accounting.
