Robert Tatum is a software engineer with extensive experience in both leadership and development roles. At Scripps Institution of Oceanography, Robert serves as the lead software engineer for a $500k semi-autonomous oceanic research device, where responsibilities include implementing a time-synchronized communications network and customizing an event-driven imaging system. As a co-founder of Bins Storage and a software engineer at Triton Software Engineering, Robert has developed mobile applications, primarily using React Native, and contributed to full-stack solutions for various projects, including those for the UCSD International Health Collective. Additionally, Robert held the position of Vice President of Finance for Triton Engineering Student Council, where financial management included overseeing a nonprofit organization with a six-figure cash flow, and served as an equity analyst for the UCSD Student Foundation. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from UC San Diego.
