Michael Dunaway, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries.

Michael began their career in 1994 as an Information Systems Technician in the US Navy. Michael then transitioned to Verestar, Inc. (formerly American Tower), where they worked in satellite network operations from 1998 to 2003.

In 2003, Michael joined Lockheed Martin as an IT Project Manager and Enterprise Business Analyst, focusing on data warehouse and business intelligence in supply chain management. Michael held this role until 2008. Michael then took on the role of IT Project Manager and Enterprise Business Analyst in IT Strategy & Transformation until 2012.

From 2012 to 2016, Michael worked at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics as a Senior Project Engineer, specializing in business intelligence systems. In this role, they led and managed IT project teams, utilized agile methodologies, and delivered analytics solutions using SAP Hana/Business Objects.

In 2016, Michael joined Blackhawk Network as a Staff Technical Program Manager, responsible for leading enterprise PMO activities. During their tenure, they managed technical programs until 2022.

Currently, Michael works at Triumph Financial, Inc. as a Product Manager, a position they have held since 2023. Michael is also serving as the Service Delivery Lead for Product Innovation.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated their ability to manage project budgets, mitigate risks and change issues, and lead distributed teams.

Michael Dunaway, PMP obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Project Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, which they attended from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Arlington, where they studied from 1998 to 2001.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Dunaway also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification which they obtained from PMI in August 2011.
