Nick Sanders

Nick Sanders has a diverse work experience in various industries such as finance, technology, and worship ministry. Nick started their career as an Information Technology Consultant at NSInc, where they provided IT services and consulting to clients in network design, information security, and business analysis. Nick then worked as a Sales Engineer at tw telecom, inc., where they directed account managers and developed solutions architecture for wholesale carrier accounts.

After that, they held the role of Director of Product Development at Masergy Communications, where they were responsible for product planning and execution in network services, cloud services, and software-defined networking. Nick later worked as the Director of Product Management at Interface Security Systems, managing a portfolio of services in physical security and telephony.

Furthermore, Nick gained experience as an Information Security Consultant at Dell, leading customer discussions on Microsoft security features. Nick also served in the Texas State Guard as an E-6/Staff Sergeant, fulfilling the unit's mission in civil affairs and emergency management.

In the field of worship ministry, Nick served as a Minister of Worship at Waddill Street Baptist Church and Crosspoint Community Church, where they led music arrangements, stage design, sound engineering, and budgeting for worship services and events. Currently, they are the Minister of Worship and Arts at Rock City Fellowship.

In their most recent role, Nick is the Manager of Network Engineering at Triumph Financial, Inc., where they lead a team responsible for retrofitting the retail network infrastructure and transitioning to a robust SDWAN. Nick has expertise in network infrastructure, MPLS/VPLS, SD-WAN, routing/switching, security, VoIP, and wireless technologies.

Overall, Nick Sanders brings a wealth of experience in technology, worship ministry, and emergency management to their current role.

Nick Sanders completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies at Liberty University from 2008 to 2015. In addition, they obtained various certifications including a Licensed Minister certification from Waddill Street Baptist Church in June 2020, a Senior Military Emergency Management Specialist certification from SGAUS in June 2015, Basic First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from the American Red Cross in May 2013, a Real Estate Affiliate Broker certification from the Tennessee Real Estate Commission, Tennessee Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors in July 2003, a CCNA certification from Cisco in May 2002, a TICSA certification from TruSecure in August 2001, a Technician Class (Ham Operator) certification from the Federal Communications Commission in October 1996, and a CCNP certification from Cisco in May 2002. Nick also obtained a Personal Protection Officer (Level 4) certification from the Texas Department of Public Safety in December 2016.
