Chris Ayers

Chris Ayers, Ph.D. has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry since 2000. Starting as a Research Technician at the University of Texas Southwestern in 2000, they then worked as a Testing and Labeling Technician at Carter BloodCare in 2009, a Flow cytometry Technician at Veripath Laboratories in 2010, and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Texas Southwestern in 2009. In 2011, they became a Scientist at Opexa Therapeutics, followed by a Research Scientist at Bellicum Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2016, and most recently an Associate Director of Immunology; Process Development at Triumvira Immunologics, Inc. in 2021.

Chris Ayers, Ph.D. completed a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Texas State University in 2000. Chris then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Molecular Microbiology from UT Southwestern Medical Center, which they completed in 2008.
