Alexander Volkmann

Alexander Volkmann currently serves as the Head of Marketplace and Deals at trivago since February 2018, overseeing a multi-disciplinary team responsible for various aspects of the company's meta search auction and related products. Prior to this role, Alexander held multiple positions at Markovian GmbH, including Co-Founder and Data Science Manager, while also serving as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Rocket Internet SE. Alexander's academic background includes a Doctor rerum naturalium from the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics and FU Berlin, as well as a German Diplom in Mathematics from The University of Freiburg, complemented by an Erasmus Programme experience at École normale supérieure de Lyon.
