Vijay Simha Rao

Vijay Simha Rao is currently serving as the Assistant General Manager - Supply Chain at Triveni Turbine Limited since September 2024. Prior to this role, Vijay held various positions at Flowserve Corporation from July 2011 to October 2024, including Global Procurement Lead, where recognition as the “Spirit of Flowserve” was achieved multiple times for excellence in completing Mega Projects within budget and schedule. Earlier experience includes roles as a Product Specialist at Gerab National Enterprises LLC and a Quality Engineer at Flowserve India Pvt Ltd, where quality management systems were developed and maintained. Vijay began the professional journey as an Engineer In Training at Fouress Engineering (India) Pvt Ltd. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Project Management from Sikkim Manipal University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from KVG College of Engineering. Expertise spans modern project management methodologies, quality assurance, supplier selection, and training, supported by proficiency in various software tools.
