Brian Connell

Brian Connell is a Partner at Trivest Partners, a Miami-based private equity firm. Brian has over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry and has held various executive positions during their career.

Brian started their career at The Federated Companies, a national real estate investment group, where they served as Chief Executive Officer. During their time at The Federated Companies, Brian was responsible for the acquisition, development, construction, and management of multifamily apartment communities and net lease retail assets.

In 2012, Brian left The Federated Companies to join Pensam Capital, LLC as President of Pensam Funding. At Pensam Capital, Brian was responsible for bridge loans on acquisitions, discounted note payoffs, and other opportunistic, time sensitive situations. Brian also oversaw the management of a growing portfolio of multihousing units in a number of diverse markets.

In October 2013, Brian joined Trivest Partners as a Partner. In their current role, they are responsible for leading Trivest’s Mid-Market practice.

Brian Connell has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Finance and Computer Science from the Boston College Carroll School of Management.
