Mburu Duncan has a diverse work experience. Mburu started their career in 2008 as a Logistics Clerk at SGS, where they were responsible for inspecting cargo, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating the delivery of food and non-food items. Mburu then worked at the World Food Programme from 2012 to 2019, first as a Logistics Assistant, supporting logistics operations and managing vendors, and later as a Procurement Assistant, assisting in the preparation and evaluation of bids. In 2019, they joined Dunru Services as a Procurement and Logistic Manager, overseeing procurement processes, managing the fleet, and providing support to supply chain and store management. Currently, they are the Head of Supply Chain Management at Trivitron Healthcare, where they are responsible for procurement, supply chain, and logistics operations in East Africa, as well as maintaining regulatory documentation and ensuring cost efficiency.

Mburu Duncan has a diverse educational background. Mburu obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Purchasing & Supplies Management from Mount Kenya University (MKU) between the years 2014 and 2016. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Diploma in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General at The Kenya Institute of Management.

In addition to their formal education, Mburu Duncan has also acquired several certifications. In January 2019, they obtained a certificate from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), known as the Chartered Institute of Purchasing. Mburu further expanded their knowledge by completing a Certificate in SAP ERP Logistics Overview at Asean Online Education (AOE), a program that lasted in 2022. Moreover, they obtained a Supplies Practitioners License from the Kenya Institute Of Supplies Management (KISM) Official in July 2022. Furthermore, they gained expertise in Fleet Management through a certification program offered by Udemy in June 2022.
