Jacob C.

Jacob C. has a diverse background in compliance and risk management. Jacob has held various leadership roles at prominent organizations, demonstrating their expertise and knowledge in the field. Jacob started their career as an Operations Manager at the USAID Economic Development Program. Later, they worked as a Consultant at BearingPoint and then as a Sr. Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. In 2012, they joined the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where they served as a Policy Advisor, providing strategic analysis and policy solutions on financial crimes and sanctions issues. Jacob then transitioned to work at FinClusive as the Head of Risk & Compliance and later joined Valiu as the Chief Compliance Officer. Their most recent role is as the Director, Public Sector Partnerships at TRM Labs. Throughout their career, they have focused on developing relationships with stakeholders, advising on financial crime risks, and leading initiatives to combat money laundering and terrorist financing threats.

Jacob C. has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued an MA degree in International Security Studies & Middle Eastern Studies from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Jacob's undergraduate education was completed at the University of Maryland from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in International Business and Finance.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Jacob C. obtained a certification in CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists) from the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists in August 2018.
