George Redman is currently the Country Director for Trócaire in Honduras, a role they have held since 2022. Previously, they served as the Country Director at Oxfam from 2012 to 2021 and held various positions within the organization, including Programme Management Assistant in Burundi and Programme Administrator for East & Central Africa. George has extensive experience in humanitarian and disaster risk management, having worked as the Deputy Regional Manager for Latin America & Caribbean at Trócaire from 2007 to 2012. They began their career in education as an English Teacher in Guatemala and Colombia in the mid-1990s. George earned a Bachelor's degree in Spanish & Latin American Studies from the University of Southampton and a Master's degree in Area Studies (Latin America) from Goldsmiths, University of London.
