Chantal Lavoie, Ing./P. Eng, ICD.D, currently serves as an Independent Director and Chair of the Technical Committee for Troilus Gold Corp. since September 2024. Previously, Lavoie held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Rio Tinto from December 2018 to August 2024, and at Dominion Diamond Corporation from July 2013 to November 2018. Additional experience includes roles as President & Chief Executive Officer at Crocodile Gold Corporation, Chief Operating Officer at De Beers Canada, and various positions at De Beers Canada Inc. and Barrick Gold Corporation. Lavoie received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Université Laval and completed the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto in January 2024.
