Siva Sarathy Ph.D.

Siva Sarathy is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of water and wastewater treatment technologies. Holding the position of Manager in the Core Applications Group at Trojan Technologies since July 2009, Siva has also served as a Senior Scientist and Research Scientist, focusing on innovative scientific research aimed at commercialization of advanced treatment solutions. As an Adjunct Research Professor at Western University from October 2015 to June 2022, Siva contributed to academia while leading the IWA Young Water Professional Canadian Chapter from January 2017 to August 2019, which included organizing the 9th International Young Water Professionals Conference in Toronto. Previous roles include positions at the University of British Columbia, Molson Canada, Stuart Energy Systems, Petro Canada, and Bick's Pickles, showcasing a diverse background in chemical processes and quality control. Siva holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a BASc in Environmental (Chemical) Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
