Alistair Peterson

Alistair Peterson serves as the Regional Manager for Employee Relations & Transformation at Tronox since December 2019, focusing on enhancing relationships between the company and its employees while driving initiatives for diversity, equity, inclusion, and labor regulation compliance in South Africa. Prior to this role, Alistair held multiple positions at Vedanta Resources Plc from October 2016 to December 2019, including HR Manager for Operational Readiness and the Gamsberg Project, where responsibilities involved developing HR strategies aligned with project needs. Alistair's experience also includes serving as HR Business Partner and other HR roles at Black Mountain Mining from 2004 to 2016, alongside earlier work as a Clerk of the Court in the Department of Justice. Alistair's academic qualifications include a PGD in Labor Law, a B.Com.Hons in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, and a BBA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
