Michael King

Michael King, PhD, is an accomplished data scientist currently employed at trophi.ai since January 2022 and also serves as an Honorary Research Associate at the University of Cape Town since May 2018. With a rich background in neuroscience and sports medicine, Michael has held various positions, including Youth Program Director and Performance Scientist at Driver61 and post-doctoral fellow at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Michael's research expertise includes examining neuroimaging effects of exercise on brain repair in multiple sclerosis and studying the impact of Ritalin on brain activity during exercise, resulting in publications in top-ranking journals. Educational credentials include a PhD in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from the University of Cape Town and a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
