Catarina Casais has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Catarina began their career as a Research Assistant at The Sainsbury Laboratory in 1999 and remained in that role until 2006. From 2006 to 2019, Catarina worked at Abcam, starting as a Business Development Associate and steadily progressing to roles such as Business Development Manager, Senior Business Development Manager, and Senior Project Manager. Catarina then joined Tropic Biosciences in 2019 as a Project Manager and was later promoted to the role of Senior Project Manager. As of now, Catarina's work at Tropic Biosciences as a Senior Project Manager is ongoing.
Catarina Casais obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Universidade do Porto, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Catarina then pursued a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology at De Montfort University, completing their studies from 1997 to 1999.
