Heather Goodman, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2013, they worked as a Laboratory Assistant in Dr. Stefan Kepinski's plant sciences lab at the University of Leeds, where they gained valuable laboratory experience while assisting PhD students with their research. In 2016, they had a brief work experience as an Intellectual Property student at Urquhart-Dykes & Lord LLP, where they learned about patent writing and formulation of claims. In 2019, they worked as a Finance Assistant at Stadia Utilities and as an Agricultural Consultancy Researcher at CROP MANAGEMENT INFORMATION LIMITED, where they delivered presentations on genetic engineering technologies and their impact on arable farming. Currently, since 2020, they hold the position of Human Resources Officer at Tropic and also worked previously as a Research Scientist.
