Clinton Scharen

Clinton Scharen, CPA, has extensive work experience in financial planning and accounting. Clinton is currently serving as the Director of Financial Planning at Tropicale Foods, LLC. Prior to this, Clinton held various roles at Trident Seafoods, including SAP Global Leader, Assistant Corporate Controller, Plant Controller, and Senior Financial Analyst. In these positions, they managed financial and tax audits, budgeting, transfer pricing, acquisition/disposal, global accounting standards, policies and procedures, and capital expenditure reporting. Clinton also worked closely with the CFO, audit committee, and international subsidiaries. Before joining Trident Seafoods, they worked as a Senior Accountant at Perkins & Co and as a Staff Accountant at NARA NW.

Clinton Scharen, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Linfield University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Afterward, they pursued further education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Portland State University, attending from 2007 to 2008. In 2014, Clinton obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Washington State Board of Accountancy.
