James Ryans

James Ryans is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Tropolis and a Founding Member at The F Suite. Prior to his current roles, he served as a board director at Flock and held positions as a partner and Chief Financial Officer at Social Capital and OTT Risk respectively. He also has extensive experience as a board director at various companies such as Groundspeed Analytics, Inc., Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings Corp. III, Virgin Galactic, and Social Capital Hedosophia Holdings Corp. Additionally, he was an Assistant Professor of Accounting at London Business School. Ryans holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley, an MBA from the University of Michigan, and a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
